We couldnt have asked for a better Dad, he was taken from us too soon and the pain of losing him stays with us every day.

Dads Birthday 2008 A day to remember silently kept No need for words, we will never forget A happy smile, a heat of gold No finer man this world could hold Deep in out hearts there's a special place For a precious dad I can never replace

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watched you as we saw you fade away. Although we loved you deeply, we could not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

One night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along foreign sands with my dear father. Across the marble sky flashed scenes from my life. And for each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to me and the other to Him. When the final scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life there had been only one set of footprints. I also noticed that this happened at the very lowest and saddest times of my life. This really bothered me and so I questioned my father about it. "Dad, you promised that you would never leave me and you would walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, that there is only one set of footprints in the sand. I do not understand why, when I needed you most you would leave me all alone". My father then replied "My precious, precious child, I Love you with all my heart and I would never leave you alone! During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, It was then that I carried you". An adaptation of verses taken from 'Footprints In The Sand'...missing only a final few lines! It was then that my dream came to and end, and the nightmare returned to haunt me.
